$10,000 DONATION TO MARGARET'S PLACE HOSPICE

The Rotary Club of Dundas recently made a $10,000 donation to Margaret's Place Hospice at St. Joseph's Villa. The funds were raised through the successful 4th annual Tour de Dundas / Taste of Dundas community event on September 21, 2025.
Rotary Tour de Dundas Chair and Director of Community Service George Eastwood made the presentation to St. Joseph's Villa President Don Davidson and Margaret's Place Director Jennifer Morrit.

The Rotary Club of Dundas recently made a $10,000 donation to Routes Youth Centre. The funds were raised through the successful 4th annual Tour de Dundas / Taste of Dundas community event on September 21, 2025.
Rotary Club President Stan Nowak made the presentation to Routes Secretary-Treasurer John van Vliet and Youth Programs Coordinator Andrew Payne at today’s Rotary meeting.
$1,000 DONATION TO DUNDAS COMMUNITY SERVICES

The Rotary Club of Dundas donated $1,000 to Dundas Community Services to assist with various services provided to the Dundas community by DCS, including Meals on Wheels, frozen food availability, transportation for seniors, friendly visits, etc.

ROTARY TOUR DE DUNDAS / TASTE OF DUNDAS 2025 RECAP
Our Tour de Dundas and Taste of Dundas 2025 was another roaring success, with over 376 riders, with our 100 km ride remaining the most popular route. We had over 20 vendors, including Shed Brewery, Galaxy Burger, The Dirty South, Grilled Gold Eats, Rice n Rolls, Kool Jims Ice Cream Truck, Main Squeeze Lemonade, and more in the Dundas Driving Park.
We were able to raise $10,000 each again this year for our Routes Youth Centre and St. Joseph's Villa Dundas Margaret's Place Hospice.

Fellow Rotarian, Stan Nowak, was awarded the King Charles III Coronation Medal, presented and nominated by our local MPP, Sandy Shaw on Tuesday, February 11, 2025.
Fellow Rotarian, Stan Nowak, was awarded the King Charles III Coronation Medal, presented and nominated by our local MPP, Sandy Shaw on Tuesday, February 11, 2025.
Stan went to Queen's Park with members of the Architectural Conservancy Ontario (ACO) and spoke with several MPPS on architectural heritage matters.
Stan is an active member of our community and he's been involved with heritage volunteering/activism. Congratulations, Stan!
